Digital Interactive Designer

Role Overview

The Digital Interactive Designer will design and build all animated and rich media design concepts for Hillary for America’s digital advertising team.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and design all digital ad campaigns within HTML5 and photoshop
• Lead the brainstorming and creation of all interactive and rich media advertising design concepts to communicate the campaign’s message through everything from mobile banner ads to high impact site takeovers
• Work with copy-writers and analysts to develop and test new designs on a regular and rigorous basis
• Work with the in-house design team to ensure advertising designs are in line with the campaign’s brand, look and feel
• Collaborate with the AdOps team to assure all concepts are properly processed for trafficking.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with digital advertising programs on behalf of political candidates or committees
• 5+ years of experience in interactive / experience design
• Programming skills in HTML5, and proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with Douleclick Studio is ideal but not mandatory
• A portfolio to demonstrate design skills
• An understanding of current digital technologies, web standards and trends
• Must be organized and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment
• Animation/Illustration skills a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a group environment, exceptional work ethic, a self-starter comfortable with late hours and regular seven day work weeks
• Passion for politics and desire to elect Hillary Clinton the next President of the United States.
