Polymer Developer

More On Tap is looking for a front-end developer to migrate or rewrite a Polymer Web application from Polymer 0.5 to Polymer 1.0.

# Project Scope and Qualifications #

This project involves the refactoring/rewriting of a legacy Polymer application into one that works in modern Web browsers. The application is a dashboard for internal company use. It is one of several clients to a central API, and as such API compatibility must be maintained.

Potential candidates must have:
• a deep understanding of Polymer 0.5 and Polymer 1
• familiarity with the polyup tool
• first-hand experience upgrading a Polymer project
• experience refactoring Javascript applications

Exceptional candidates also offer:
• knowledge of front-end testing techniques
• experience deploying to Heroku

# Acceptance Criteria #

Required
• Functional on the latest stable Google Chrome release at the time of job acceptance.
• Full feature parity with legacy application.
Optional
• Transition from dynamically-served to static, single-page application.
