Your role

We build products that change the way mobile advertising works. Everyone on the product team becomes the CEO for part of our platform, driving product strategy, roadmap and execution in close cooperation with our engineering teams.

As the Director Product Ad Marketplace, you will take complete product ownership of our Mobile Ad Marketplace solution. You will work closely with key demand partners, advertising networks and mediation partners, especially in the user acquisition and brand advertising area. You are responsible for driving the whole product lifecycle, translating the company strategy into a successful product roadmap. In this role, you will focus on transitioning SponsorPay into the era of real-time advertising & bidding.

  • Make sure we build the right things that will increase spend on our platform, finding the highest paying ad for every single impression
  • Manage, coach, lead and inspire a team of Product Managers
  • Define and manage the product roadmap, make sure all efforts are aligned with the company strategy
  • Set and continuously manage the right expectations of all relevant stakeholders including the senior leadership team
  • Locate new business opportunities by interacting with existing customers, potential new partners as well as internal stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams - including Sales, Services and Product Marketing - providing input on training, marketing material and product rollout
  • Work on product features over their whole life-cycle, including use-case definitions, wireframes and requirement specifications

Your skills

  • Computer Science or Engineering degree (BS, MS, or PhD)
  • 5+ years of working experience as a Product Manager or similar role, with at least 3+ years in the mobile advertising space
  • Bring a deep understanding of the ad tech industry and its ecosystem. You are comfortable using terms like DSP, SSP, Exchange, RTB and Audience
  • You possess a strong understanding of integrating with third party systems and a good technical understanding of mobile applications
  • You demonstrated team leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated your ability to ideate, launch and grow products
  • You are driven by data, you can analyze key metrics and take corresponding action
  • You are able to manage multiple projects, while making sure their prioritization reflects company strategy
  • You are fluent in English, both verbal and written (German not required)
