We are looking for highly motivated and talented technical individuals to join our team as Senior DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate has demonstrated ability to successfully manage the development, test, and production environments for an organization that delivers video via web browsers as well as set-top and mobile devices.


  • Operate, maintain, and improve the systems infrastructure and application development platform for a leading global destination and platform for Japanese anime and Asian content
  • Write custom facts in Puppet, writing collective extensions, using Hiera
  • Work with tools similar to those defined below as well as the ability to quickly adapt


  • Strong Background in Linux systems administration, specifically RHEL/CentOS
  • Experience with cloud based hosting, specifically AWS
  • Working knowledge and ability to manage DNS servers
  • Experience migrating from physical servers to cloud servers
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems, and drilling down to resolve problems.
  • Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Puppet
  • Experience with the Ruby language and knowledge of extending Puppet by writing custom modules.
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically with Git, and writing hooks.
  • Comprehensive experience supporting the LAMP stack
  • Experience with deployments and resolving issues quickly
  • Knowledge of monitoring and graphing systems (Nagios/Icinga, Cacti, Ganglia, Graphite) to ensure 100% up time
  • Solid understanding of current web and Internet technologies like Apache, RabbitMQ, NGinx, Memcache, APC, Varnish, CDN, DNS
  • Experience with cloud and virtualization platforms like VMWare, Xen, Hyper-V, Openstack.
  • Clear understanding of networking technologies (Load Balancers, Firewalls, Switches, etc)
