Over the last few years we have established ourselves as the domain authority in the space and are collaborating with Partners such as American Express OPEN Forum, Allbusiness.com, Bank of America, and the top small business influencers in the country to provide the most forward thinking content to our readers.

Small businesses are the backbone of the US economy and we believe that they should be equipped with the best tools and resources in order to be successful. In order to gain small business' trust, it is critical to provide fresh, innovative content as well as build our brand in what is today, a fairly archaic space that is ready to be disrupted.
 

Responsibilities:

- The day to day strategic implementation of our blog

- Creating and managing the creative process for evergreen content such as eBooks, white papers and designing the landing pages associated with such content

- Continue and build the relationships we have with Content Partners, including those we produce content for and those who produce content for us; research new strategic relationships

- Manage a number of freelance writers, continually evaluating current contributors and bringing on talented new ones.

- Focus on distribution of this material through newsletters, drip campaigns, a well-researched and organized SEO campaign, as well as paid channels.

Required skills:

- Strong customer service orientation (this includes our existing customers/readers of our content, as well as small business influencers, partners and anyone that interacts with our brand)

- A vision and ambition for personal improvement

- Previous experience in content marketing

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Great communication skills

- Extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational skills (i.e. great at multi-tasking)

- Energy, commitment and demonstrated initiative

- Independent work attitude

- Strong working knowledge of business applications. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint required

- Bachelor's Degree
