Senior Product Manager, Video Player

ULIVE is seeking a Senior Product Manager with the creativity, vision, drive, and experience to drive product strategy and execution for the ULIVE video player and player products. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining the product's overall strategy and driving execution against it.

ULIVE video players are deployed across the web to deliver premium content in a syndicated environment. We pride our selves on the simplicity with which we deploy and release players and the scale at which we serve. You can have a hand in serving millions of video streams a day across the web.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team responsible for definition, design, and release for the ULIVE video player.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify requirements, analyze market opportunities and set product strategy
  • Manage beta programs to gather customer feedback and ensure successful releases
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations and product concepts. Typical audiences include executive management, customers, partners
  • Research and evaluate competitive products & solutions to help inform future product road map priorities
  • Work closely with strategic partners to facilitate integrations and joint solutions

Requirements:

  • You love rapid iteration
  • You skillfully combine strategic thinking with detail-oriented execution in a way that gets things done in a fast-paced, distributed organization
  • You have hands-on experience with online video publishing and monetization
  • You understand video platforms and the video landscape
  • You're familiar with advertising technology
  • You are comfortable talking about APIs and classes and don't mind getting your hands dirty with web technology
  • You quickly earn the respect of engineers because you can clearly articulate product priorities and requirements and have data to back them up
  • You can communicate clearly and inspire confidence among internal audiences, including executives, sales, and support
