Modea is looking for a QA/QC Analyst to help drive quality assurance and quality control efforts for our Fortune 1000 brands. This is a job for people that are truly passionate about developing and delivering bulletproof applications and seamless user experiences. If you land the position, it’ll be your job to work with our business and technical staff to poke, prod, bend, and stretch programs to uncover any and all weak points. You’ll need a thorough understanding of each application and its functional requirements and goals so that you can design and implement an effective testing program. And of course, you’ll be recording and sharing detailed documentation of the entire process, and clearly and succinctly sharing your findings to help our development teams work to address any problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce QA/QC processes, policies, procedures, and best practices to include reviewing content and testing of software across multiple hardware and software platforms.
  • Click through, verify content and test interfaces listed in the requirements to ensure the content and site are free of bugs and errors.
  • Execute a pre-defined test plan to ensure all copy is correct and all client requirements are met.
  • Assist in managing the change control process (i.e., review, approve, document and track all change control requests).
  • Log all errors in company QA system.

Requirements 

  • Strong knowledge of IT, software development, QA and operational activities as well as related processes, policies and procedures.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Minimum 2 years of software QA/QC experience.
  • Experience using cross-browser testing software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. Self-starter and proactive.
  • Ability to work within deadlines.
  • Experience with issue tracking software a plus.
