Human Resources Specialist

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our global HR team. The Human Resources Specialist will provide daily HR operations support to the Chicago human resources department along with leading the recruiting function in the US and assisting in global HR projects. This role will report to the Manager of Human Resources.


  • Manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for roles in the U.S.
  • Coordinate the candidate experience from offer letter to onboarding
  • Complete HR administrative duties like VOE’s, filing and pulling various reports
  • Administer our internal LMS, cleverbridge Academy
  • Review employment practices to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external laws and regulations
  • Respond to HR issues and problems and administer HR policies and procedures as appropriate
  • Conduct exit interviews as needed
  • Oversee and administer the performance management process
  • Verify and maintain I-9 documentation
  • Support the global HR department in special projects
  • Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an HR role with a focus in recruiting
  • Ability to work with limited direction, extremely proactive and driven
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws, policies, procedures and practices
  • High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality
  • Experience in working with ATS systems
  • Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
