Senior Software Engineer, Front-End

Based in Boulder, Colorado, Mondo Robot is a multidisciplinary team of digital artisans that bring together passion, collaboration, and creativity to create high-concept digital solutions that are innovative, engaging, and results-driven. Outside of being an outstanding developer, you must have strong communication skills, be extremely passionate, have the ability to manage multiple projects, and enjoy working closely with designers, producers and other developers.  You’ll be creating world-class digital experiences that incorporate the latest industry technologies. Additionally, you will work closely with creatives to innovate and push boundaries, create prototypes to support concepts, participate in code reviews, mentor developers, and pair program.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years experience in web development, including a high level of proficiency creating interactive web applications in React.js

• Deep understanding of coding best practices including MVC, object-oriented principles, and design patterns with a focus on performance and scalability

• A passion for accessibility and advocating its importance to the team

• Advanced Git (branches, submodules, rebasing)

• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to laymen and to translate their feedback

• The desire to work on a diverse range of challenging projects

• A strong attention to detail

• An inclination to contribute to the creative process

• A devotion to delivering the best possible user experience

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Hands-on development

• Code reviews

• Technical project leadership

• Candidate architecture proposals

• Education and mentoring of developers

• Scoping and estimating technical requirements

• Engagement with Creatives to provide technical feasibility
