The Tech Lead designs, develops, and tests solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements. They are expected to be proficient in a variety of technologies and languages (C#, Java, Python, etc., Microservices, Cloud Architecture and API's) to develop applications. The developer approaches software holistically, catering to both user experience and functionality. The developer dabbles in emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning and Artificial Intelligence etc.) to develop solutions that improve business performance.
The Team Leader is recognized as an expert in their functional area within the organization and works independently, under minimal guidance from their manager. May have direct responsibility of leading a small team of Developers, as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, system analysts, developers, and ecosystem partners to bring innovative ideas from conception to launch at scale to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Support the fast-paced nature of SBG Funding and work on various projects simultaneously.
• Experience leading and driving a small development team.
• Experience with project management and Agile.
• Assist in analyzing and researching new and existing products, procedures, and/or workflow needs associated with business systems.
• Work in an iterative/Agile environment and be a strong team player.
• Adopt emerging technologies and launch products / services faster with rapid prototyping & iterative methods.
• Proven ability to take prototypes to production, following engineering best practices.
• Build, configure, or customize the technical solution (reusable components, preconfigured solutions, cloud solution and services)
• Work very closely with other technology teams to champion the adoption of patterns, platforms, and tools to support the usage and conformity of solution architecture.
• Manage automation and monitor application integration as code iteratively goes through assembly and product tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related work experience.
• Background in software development and is familiar with one or more software languages such as C#, Java, Python etc.
• Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future through digital technology.
• Experience creating scalable system designs
• Experience in building complex server-side systems
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD technologies
• Hands-on experience with AWS and it's services (e.g. VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift, etc)
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Passion for detail orientation and strive to translate the big picture into an executable workstream
• Familiar with the latest technologies, trends, standards, products, and applicability
• Ability to effectively adapt to rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytics skills to develop technology solutions that solve business problems quickly.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams to unblock critical issues during product development.

Preferred

• Experience in B2B Fintech or Financial Services domain(s).
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with LangChain
• Experience with LLM agents
• Experience with Salesforce
