As the BizOps Lead at Elayne, you’ll work closely with our CEO to drive the strategic and operational foundation that powers our growth. In this role, you’ll wear multiple hats, focusing on go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, analytics, data management, and hands-on execution. You’ll be building the foundational processes that empower us to scale sustainably, working closely with leadership to turn strategic ideas into tangible results. What You’ll Be Working On
- Strategic Partner to the CEO: Collaborate directly with the CEO (former PE at Blackstone/Permira) to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, support revenue generation, and prioritize market opportunities. You’ll play a critical role in setting the direction of the business and translating strategic insights into actionable plans.
- Analytics and Research: Build and manage the analytics infrastructure that fuels our growth. You’ll create dashboards, track key performance metrics, and provide data-driven insights that guide decisions across sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Partnerships and Sales Support: Develop partnership initiatives and provide hands-on sales enablement. Work closely with the CEO and key stakeholders to build relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
- Key Thought Partner and Operational Executor: Serve as a thought partner to leadership, contributing to major strategic decisions and then translating those decisions into operational outcomes. You’ll execute on these strategies and ensure they are successfully implemented across the organization.
- Support for CEO Back-Office Functions: Oversee essential back-office functions for the CEO, including cash flow management, basic accounting, and general administrative tasks. Ensure these areas are running smoothly and support the CEO in maintaining organizational efficiency.
- Connective Tissue Across the Organization: Act as the link between teams, ensuring alignment on key projects, from sales initiatives to platform developments. You’ll also be involved in stakeholder management, from key accounts to investors.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- 5-10+ years of experience in BizOps, Strategy Consulting, or Private Equity, with a demonstrated track record of making an impact through strategic and operational initiatives.
- Analytical and Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and analytics tools, with the ability to derive actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations.
- Bias for Action: A proactive, hands-on approach with the agility to tackle high-priority projects and solve challenges quickly.
- Strong Communication Skills: You’re able to distill complex insights and communicate them clearly across diverse teams, fostering alignment and cohesion.
Bonus Points For
- Experience in LegalTech, InsureTech, or PeopleTech, providing valuable industry context to inform decisions and strategies.
- Project Management Expertise: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies to effectively drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to navigate the demands and rapid changes of a startup setting with flexibility and resilience.
