Account Executive (Services / Outsourcing)
This is a high-ownership role for a salesperson who wants to run their own book and directly impact revenue growth. You’ll sell practical, high-ROI services to finance leaders — not another SaaS tool competing for budget.
ARDEM helps CFOs and operations leaders reduce overhead, improve controls, and scale through outsourced delivery and practical automation across finance, accounting, utilities, logistics, and other back‑office operations.
The Role
This role is best suited for someone with experience selling services,
outsourcing, or complex solutions. Candidates with SaaS backgrounds
who have sold multi-stakeholder or services-heavy deals are also encouraged to apply.
You will own a book of business and be responsible for generating revenue through a mix of expansion within existing client relationships, net‑new prospecting, and selectively working inbound opportunities when available. Operations owns day‑to‑day delivery so you can stay focused on commercial ownership and growth.
Success is measured by
- Booked revenue (Year 1 target: $1.5M+)
- Pipeline created and progressed (outbound + referrals + expansion)
- Deals closed and expanded
- Forecast accuracy and follow‑through
What You’ll Own
- Full-cycle services selling: discovery → solutioning → proposal → negotiation → close
- Typical deal size: $60k–$250k+ | Typical sales cycle: 30–60 days
- Build pipeline through outbound + referrals (this is not inbound-only)
- Own the commercial relationship for the clients you close—build CFO/COO/Controller trust that leads to expansions
- Partner with Operations to protect relationships; you remain accountable for retention and expansion revenue
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and deal visibility using internal tools
- Use ARDEM’s standardized proposal intake + proposal template; participate in weekly pipeline/forecast reviews
What We’re Looking For :
Must-have
- 3–5 years B2B services sales experience (outsourcing, managed services, consulting, finance/accounting services, utilities services, or similar)
- Closed-won experience in the $60k–$250k+ range
- Comfort selling to CFO / Controller / COO / VP Finance / VP Ops
- Strong follow-up, organization, and accountability
Strong preference
- Finance/accounting services, BPO/outsourcing, or utility management exposure
- Experience building pipeline via outbound + referrals (not marketing-fed only)
- Existing network of CFO/COO/Controller relationships (a meaningful advantage; ramps faster)

- Inbound opportunities may be available; distribution is at ARDEM’s discretion based on performance and execution.
- This is not a customer success role—client relationship work is measured by retention and expansion revenue, not ticket handling.
- Compensation Plan: The plan scales meaningfully with performance; top performers can exceed six figures+ total compensation.
