UCLA Health is seeking a talented, hardworking Technical Research Coordinator. The Technical Research Coordinator will be responsible for helping to bring together and coordinate a UC-wide team of researchers and corporate, non-profit, and government partners to study how social data can be used to predict events. This will include coordinating between three focus areas - Big Data Engineering, Data Mining/Machine Learning and Domain Application - on a regular basis and advice on bridging gaps. S/he will therefore need to be a social person who has a grasp of day-to-day research being conducted at the Institute. S/he will also work closely with the PI and provide guidance on how to address the growing needs of the Institute.

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree and at least 2 years of project management experience. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in current and emerging internet and social media platforms.
