Technical Project Manager

Key Result Areas

Effective project management using agile methodologies and ensure that project deliveries are made within the agreed timeline.

• Assessment of problem and risk areas and mitigation.
• Quality of technical output.
• Effective Change Management.
• Technology adaptation and technology initiatives.
• Cordination with cross functional teams.

Key Skills:

• Effective planning, management and delivery of a large project (and it’s sub projects) with multiple parallel developments within cost/ timelines.
• Proper technical implementation from one or more module teams.
• Resolve system design / interface issues that surface during implementation
• Ensure quality of technical output from respective teams
• Accurate Project Status Reporting.
• Responsible for highlighting problem areas in pro-active manner and taking action to mitigate at own level or to effectively escalate to higher level(s) of engineering.
• Developing estimates (size, effort, budgets) and plans (schedule, dependencies, deliverables, equipment planning, staffing plans)
• Proper assessment of execution and technology related risks for all projects under his/her supervision
• Effective change management in project(s) arising due to external or internal factors.
• Setting up of acceptance criteria and resolving acceptance issues with any third party modules.

Education and Background Experience

• 7-10 year’s experience in project management; Must have handled project independently
• Experienced in Agile development
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Must be a graduate of a premier institute, studying Computer Science.
• Preference for candidate with experienced in management of web/mobile development projects
