Graveflex is a software design and development agency looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join its team in Chicago, IL. We build custom software applications of any kind, size, and complexity for our growing client base. We're looking for someone to help us code. For this position, please have a minimum of 5 years experience in the role as a software developer.

Responsibilities:

This is a senior level position, so you will need working knowledge of every aspect of our dev process:

• Front-end web development using React

• Front-end app development using React Native

• Back-end API development using Ruby + Rails

• Unit testing all of the above

• Web deployment using Heroku

• iOS deployment via Test Flight

• Android deployment via the Play Store

• Automating all of the above using Github Actions (or similar)

• PostgreSQL database queries + migrations (you will need to actually know SQL)

• Modern CSS languages, libraries, frameworks (we typically use Bootstrap + Styled Components)

• GraphQL concepts, libraries, frameworks

• Coordinating with teams of developers to help meet sprint goals

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with Agile

• Good communication skills

• Curiosity about new languages, libraries, frameworks

• Contributions to open-source projects

Physical Requirements:
This job requires you to sit for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, use your hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. This job also requires the ability to write, speak, and read in English.
